The DBH&G is located in the Merchants Row area on Woodward Ave. in the heart of the downtown. Our Clients at the Southern Hospitality group in Detroit commissioned us to create a unique restaurant for breakfast and one where Detroiter’s can go to do their business or even schedule a business meeting. The DBH&G was designed around and is meant to be a great urban room for Detroiters to gather and collaborate in their city and do business during the morning and throughout the day – one of a kind! The space is designed to enhance the experience of business and conceptually portray morning & sunrise. The theme and concept is inherent in each area of the restaurant and is meant to express the beauty, dynamism, diverse and creative energy which is present in the city within each new day. Additional spaces are provided to facilitate executive business meetings, each unique in their own way – representing the different ways Detroiters conduct business. The concept and experience is further translated into the materials used throughout the project; bright, vibrant, natural and unique materials – each enhance by lighting.
